My senior class worked at fundraisers all year to earn money for our class trip. Our parents thought it would build good character by making us earn our trip money. By spring, we had enough to secure our plans to go to South Africa. It helped that we held car washes and bake sales in Beverly Hills. Our parents were our best customers.
