Should I consider booking a late room?
I’m going away for a long weekend to Italy and obviously I want to make sure it’s cost effective. I’ve booked some last minute flights which I’m happy with – after all I’ll be on the plane for such a short amount of time that as long as it gets me from A to B then that’s fine. With hotels it’s slightly different, though. I’ve been having a look at some late rooms deals, but my only concern is that will I just get the rooms that no body else wanted? I don’t mind a bit of discomfort while I’m on a plane, but I do want to get a good night’s sleep. The hotel I’m considering has assured me that the late room I’ve been looking at is a good one. It’s luck of the draw, I suppose.
