Which Type of Truck Insurance?
I am not sure what type of insurance that I need for my lorry. I was talking to a friend of mine who said that there are several different types of truck insurance. I am not sure if owner operator, private carrier or motor carrier insurance is right for me. I just have what is called a box truck and for the most part I will be carrying construction debris. I may haul some household goods sometimes too for friends, family and word of mouth customers but I will primarily haul goods to and from construction sites for contractors. I do not plan on hiring anybody to drive my truck so owner operator insurance may be what I will research first.
