Fun and Discipline
I wasn’t looking for a Mary Poppins to drop out of the sky with her umbrella, but I did need a babysitter that could incorporate fun with discipline. I didn’t think I was being too picky, but when my mother in law let the kids make their own dinner, I knew the arrangement with her could not last. I know the kids had fun making the dinner, but I did not have fun cleaning up the mess after working all day. I took a friends advice and read care.com reviews. Because I could select the options I was interested in, it was easy to find a sitter to fit most of my qualifications.
