Mighty Putty is not toxic

It is widely advertised that Mighty Putty can be used to stick, fill or seal anything by moulding to the required shape. Even pipes that are leaking can be sealed by using this product. In the infomercial presented by Billy Mays, the Mighty Putty is shown to be used as an adhesive to fix a chain, which is used to pull a truck. The product consists of a resin and a hardener, both of which combine to form a strong glue. Mighty Putty is not toxic, once its is cured but care should be taken to avoid any possible side-effects, while using the product. Eye and skin contact should be avoided. Inhalation or ingestion could cause severe respiratory irritation. Though it is very unlikely, if Mighty Putty comes into contact with any chemicals, it could cause allergic reactions to human beings. Hence , Mighty Putty should be stored in a well-ventilated and clean area. Care should also be taken to avoid placing the product near an open flame or at a place from where it can accidentally fall into a drain.
