I love to go on a good city break – mainly because I have so little time to go on holiday with the job and family that a long weekend away is often all I can snatch. I’ve been to a number of the major cities in Europe now and the latest place I want to visit is Istanbul. I’ve seen lots of deals on Turkey holidays recently and the Istanbul ones are no exception. Two things particularly fascinate me. The first is its position straddling two continents, and the second is the city’s extensive history. We have been looking at acquiring a couple of new businesses to add to our portfolio and so far the one we are most interested in is car hire christchurch as they have been doing very well. So, I’m checking out a list of hotels in Eilat and I’m currently doing some comparing and contrasting. I hate travel planning. I’m only doing this because my friend is pretty useless when it comes to organization. I’m traveling to Israel with my friend next month and we still don’t have an itinerary. Hell, we don’t even have a place to stay! Well, anyway, I guess I’m just going with the one with the best deals (and reviews). I hope my friend doesn’t complain about my pick. After all, she has no right to complain since she didn’t help at all.

Some good friends of ours have invited us to their wedding down in the central north island so I have been checking out some of the taupo accommodation available for our stay. We are really happy for them as they have been together for nearly three years now and they have been saving their money for a about a year of that so that they can have the wedding they want. It works out well for us to as we have been wanting to get away for a weekend and this has given us the push we needed to actually make some plans and force us to leave work at home for a couple of days.
