We Are Going to Start Using Battery Recycling Bins
Our company is serious about watching how large a carbon footprint we leave behind. We can’t expect individuals to do what businesses ignore. At out last supervisors’ meeting I explained my feelings about protecting the environment, and then I went on to back up my words by explaining how we would be leasing battery recycling bins from now on so that our old batteries would be kept out of the landfills and recycled or re-purposed. I saw the skepticism on several faces, but I am determined to really push this through from the top down to the bottom levels. Time will tell, but we will try to become more socially responsible.
